Wolverines on Wild Kingdom TV
Last February, we were asked to transform a television crew from the legendary show Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom into a winter wolverine team complete with rapid training in avalanche rescue, snowmobiling, backcountry skiing, camera-trapping, and genetic sampling. Hosts Peter Gros and Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant took on the challenge with admirable adaptability, and smiles. They’re true pros, having travelled all over the globe joining field biologists with the aim to share remarkable stories of wildlife and conservation. We had an amazing time sharing an adventure with the Wild Kingdom crew, and helping them spread the word about how awesome wolverines are!
