Community wildlife observations help us track wolverine occurrence and movement across the Cascades. We’ve had wonderful engagement so far and a number of wildlife observations submitted to us this past season.
For this upcoming winter monitoring season we’d like to further develop our community science program. Wolverines are considered an indicator species, meaning that their presence on the Pacific Northwest landscape provides a measure of mountain ecosystem health, as well as connectivity to habitat beyond the Cascades.
Big thanks to everyone who has already donated to the project this fall. Your support means a lot!
We still need $10,000 to fully implement our community science program this year. Please donate to help us reach our goals for the winter 2022 monitoring season!
