Cascades Wolverine Project supports wolverine recovery in the Washington Cascades, connecting science, storytelling, and recreation for the benefit of people and wildlife.
Based in the Methow Valley of Washington, our team installs and maintains remote winter camera-trapping stations that contribute to ongoing monitoring and conservation. Through our community science program, we collect observations of wolverines and their tracks throughout the Cascades. We produce outreach methods to provide backcountry skiers and snowmobilers field observation tools and wildlife awareness and ensure the wolverine persists in the Pacific Northwest.
