Field Equipment Campaign a Success

A field biologist organizes equipment in the snow

We’re thrilled to announce that we finalized our $28,000 fundraiser for new snowmobiles.

Thanks to our community of supporters, we can afford to upgrade our field equipment. We’re so grateful to Kevin and Cassandre McGowan for extending $20,000 and acting as matching donors in this campaign. Their committed support packs a huge punch for our mission and wildlife research. In total, you all donated a total of over $28,000 in under a month to fund the purchase of two new, reliable snowmobiles.

Now we are anticipating a great winter field season with improved access to our study area and monitoring stations. The logistics of wolverine conservation just got a lot smoother! We’ll soon be busy in the field setting up our winter monitoring stations, sharing stories and expanding our community science program.

If you missed the chance to contribute to this campaign, never fear! We continually seek donations to cover our yearly operating costs. The Cascades Wolverine Project so appreciates everyone who donates to and supports our grassroots efforts!
